Infosys reworks bus schedules after commute time clashed with US calls

Software major Infosys has rescheduled the departure timings of its evening bus service from its Electronic City campus in Bengaluru after learning that the long commuting time of its employees was interfering with their engagements with US-based clients, like calls and demonstrations. The new schedule took effect on September 1.

An internal mail, however, ascribed the changes to “congestion” on Bengaluru roads during the evening peak hours. The company has rescheduled bus services, and they will now leave at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM instead of the…
