YouTube is rolling out its more affordable Premium Lite subscription to users in India, offering ad-free viewing on most videos for ₹89 per month. The expansion comes as YouTube Music and Premium together surpass 125 million global subscribers, including trials, the company said.

Unlike the full YouTube Premium plan, which costs more but includes ad-free music videos, offline downloads, and background play, Premium Lite is a stripped-down option aimed at users who simply want to reduce interruptions.
