From Jeffrey Dahmer to the Menendez brothers, the Monster anthology series has mined the world of true crime to bring some dastardly stories to life. Now, in its third season, it’s Ed Gein’s turn.

Gein, played by Sons of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam, wreaked havoc in Wisconsin in the 1950s. His gruesome crimes and the psychosis of the man responsible inspired a whole cavalcade of horror movies; most famously, these three: Psycho, The Silence of the Lambs and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
