Microsoft finally pulled the trigger. Some of these changes, at least for the lower tiers, appear to be consumer-friendly reshuffles, but the headline story is that data-analytics-id=”inline-link” href=”https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/xbox-game-pass-october-2025-changes” data-before-rewrite-localise=”https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/xbox-game-pass-october-2025-changes”>Game Pass Ultimate has just increased by nearly 50% in price. And in a climate where streaming subscription fatigue is at an all-time high, that’s a hard pill to swallow. For the first time, I’m questioning if Xbox Game Pass is still worth it for me.
