DPI platform Finternet to go live by 2026: Nandan Nilekani

Finternet, a platform which uses tokenisation to regulate infrastructure and make transferring of assets easy, is set to go live in 2026, said Infosys chairman Nandan Nilekani today at the Global Fintech Fest 2025 in Mumbai.

“Next year, we will have live examples in multiple sectors, in multiple countries, actually delivering value, and the business models and commercial models will emerge,” Nilekani said. This will be the next phase of the DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure) after UPI.
