Audio and video content platform Kuku FM on Thursday said it has raised fresh funding in a round led by Granite Asia (previously known as GGV Capital), with existing investors, including Vertex Growth Fund, Krafton, IFC, Paramark, Tribe Capital India, and Bitkraft participating. The $85 million deal includes a secondary component, but details of the mix have not been made public.

The deal is one of the largest in India’s niche audio and microdrama content space, with heightened attention on mobile-first platforms catering to regional audiences.
