After employee’s suicide, police quiz Ola Electric about delayed payments

Following the death by suicide of an Ola Electric employee over alleged workplace harassment and delayed payment, the Bengaluru police has sought details from the company to find out if there were any deviations from the firm’s standard payment practices.

The Subramanyapura police is investigating the alleged suicide of K Aravind (38) by consuming poison on September 28 at his home in Chikkallasandra. Aravind was a homologation engineer at the company’s Koramangala office.
