Karnataka IT and BT minister Priyank Kharge on Thursday proposed setting up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Railways and Mobility Innovation in Karnataka, highlighting the state’s strengths across the Internet of Things (IoT), chip design, manufacturing, and simulation.

The minister was speaking at the inauguration of Nova Control Tecnologix’s new facility in the city. The company showcased Kavach 4.0, an advanced, indigenous railway safety technology developed in partnership with Tata Elxsi and Varchas Aerospace.
