Billionaire entrepreneurs Sam Altman and Elon Musk were caught in an online spat once again over foundations of OpenAI and its evolution over the years since it was founded as a non-profit AI research organisation in 2015.

Musk this time accused Altman of stealing a non-profit on his social media platform X, responding to Altman’s post about “7.5 years” wait for a Tesla car.

“You stole a non-profit,” Musk wrote. Altman, in his defence, told Musk that he too had no intention of operating it as a non-profit and wanted Tesla to take over OpenAI.
