Govt to set up AI governance group, expert panel by December

The proposed Artificial Intelligence Governance Group (AIGG) and Technology and Policy Expert Committee (TPEC) will be set up by next month to push objectives outlined in India AI governance guidelines, officials from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) said.

Recommended in the guidelines released earlier this week, both bodies are expected to help unify policymaking on artificial intelligence.
