Edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah on Monday said it has raised Rs 1,563 crore from anchor investors, just a day before the opening of its initial public offering (IPO).

This will be the first major pure-play edtech company to float its IPO in the country.

The anchor book saw participation from 57 funds, including ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (MF), Kotak Mahindra MF, Nippon India MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life, Motilal Oswal MF, Tata MF, and DSP MF, along with prominent global investors, such as Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, and Templeton, according to a circular…
