Agentic AI startup Pype AI raises $1.2 million from Kalaari Capital, others

Bengaluru-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup Pype AI has raised $1.2 million in pre-seed funding in a round led by Kalaari Capital, with participation from Wyser Capital and Tenity. Founded in 2024 by Dhruv Mehra and Ashish Tripathy, the company builds specialty-trained voice AI agents for healthcare establishments.

With the fresh funding, Pype will further develop its AI communication platform and accelerate expansion into the US market. It is currently active in India, engaged with nearly 15 hospitals, Mehra told ET.
