Capillary Technologies shares make tepid start, list at 3% discount to IPO price

In a lackluster start, shares of Capillary Technologies India listed at a 2.94% discount to the IPO price on the BSE on Friday. The stock opened at Rs 560 and Rs 571.90 on the BSE and NSE, respectively, as compared to the issue price of Rs 577.

The Rs 878 crore IPO closed on November 18 with strong subscription numbers. The public offer saw heavy institutional demand, with QIBs subscribing 57.3 times, NIIs bidding 69.85 times and retail investors subscribing 15.85 times.

The company had already raised Rs 393.98 crore from anchor investors on November…
