The use of AI in games has been the source of much virtual ink, and the debate isn’t likely to stop anytime soon. Yesterday’s statement by Epic head honcho Tim Sweeney has stoked the fire once more. In a reply to a topic about game storefronts ditching the “Made with AI” label, Sweeney said, “it makes no sense for game stores, where AI will be involved in nearly all future production,” in an apparent dig at data-analytics-id=”inline-link” href=”https://www.tomshardware.com/tag/valve” data-auto-tag-linker=”true” data-mrf-recirculation=”inline-link” data-before-rewrite-localise=”https://www.tomshardware.com/tag/valve”>Valve‘s usage of the label on its Steam platform.
