AstroLabs, the Gulf’s leading business expansion platform, has officially joined the Riyadh Creative District (RCD) in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), reinforcing the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s (RCRC) ambition to establish Riyadh as a global creative and media hub.

The Riyadh Creative District is a purpose-built ecosystem designed to unite global and local players across media, media-tech, creative industries, and culture. It provides a collaborative space where companies, creators, talent, and investors can connect, co-create, and accelerate the development of next-generation content, production, and innovation in Saudi Arabia.

AstroLabs’ presence in RCD strengthens this mission. As a long-standing partner in Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation, AstroLabs has supported the expansion of many high-growth companies into the Kingdom, while delivering sector programs that build real capabilities on the ground. By joining RCD, AstroLabs will play a catalytic role in activating the community, supporting tenant onboarding, and enabling creative and media companies to enter, scale, and operate confidently in Riyadh.

“Our mission has always been to help companies land, settle in, and operate with confidence from day one. We’ve been at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s creative and media momentum – expanding over a hundred companies and running sector programs that build real capabilities on the ground. Joining the Riyadh Creative District is a natural step for AstroLabs as we continue to support the development of the media sector alongside RCRC. We build sectors with the government, and we’ll continue doing so to accelerate the Kingdom’s economic growth. The Riyadh Creative District at KAFD gives global players a place to base their teams and plug into the local market with certainty,” said Roland Daher, CEO of AstroLabs.

As the Kingdom’s media and entertainment sector grows at a 6.7% CAGR, outpacing the 3.7% global trajectory, the district lands precisely at a historic market inflection – creating a once-in-a-generation window for global media and entertainment companies to base operations in Riyadh and capture outsized growth.

The partnership strengthens Riyadh’s positioning as a global creative economy hub and invites global players, as well as local talent, to the media capital of Saudi Arabia and participate directly in the projects that will define the next decade of content and live production in the region.
