Dhan parent Raise launches Artham, an India-focused AI model for capital markets

Raise Financial Services, the parent of stock trading platform Dhan, has launched Artham, a small language model (SLM) trained on Indian financial and capital markets data.

The model was also showcased by Amazon Web Services (AWS) at its re:Invent conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Artham, a 7-billion-parameter model developed over the past nine months, has been trained on a mix of public and proprietary domestic financial datasets and is hosted entirely on cloud infrastructure within India.
