Engineering colleges and government-run Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) are not teaching students the skills relevant for the needs of the electronics sector, industry leaders said on Thursday.

Speaking at the CII India Edge Summit, Dixon Technologies vice chairman Atul Lall and Syrma SGS Managing Director Jasbir Singh Gujral said engineering graduates do not have the skills necessary to meet the technology and the investments coming up in the country.
