Quick commerce is expected to grow significantly by 2026, but it remains to be seen whether the business will make money, said Samir Kumar, country manager, Amazon India.

“We look at three things: is it something that’s differentiated and that customers value? I think customers do value quick commerce. Second, will it scale? Based on what I see today, it will. The third question is whether by 2026 we can make money from it, overall. That’s something we’ll have to see,” said Kumar in response to ET’s question.
