A Virginia startup calling itself Operation Bluebird announced this week that it has data-offer-url=”https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/26364751-ttabvue-92090266-can-1/” class=”external-link” data-event-click=”{"element":"ExternalLink","outgoingURL":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/26364751-ttabvue-92090266-can-1/"}” href=”https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/26364751-ttabvue-92090266-can-1/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>filed a formal petition with the US Patent and Trademark Office, asking the federal agency to cancel X Corporation’s trademarks of the words “Twitter” and “tweet” since X has allegedly abandoned them.
