Mozilla names insider Enzor-DeMeo as CEO, looks to add AI features to Firefox

Firefox developer Mozilla on Tuesday said it has appointed insider Anthony Enzor-DeMeo as its CEO, as the company navigates changes in the browser market brought on by artificial intelligence products.

Enzor-DeMeo most recently served as the general manager of Firefox. He takes over from interim CEO Laura Chambers, who has been in charge for the past two years.

The appointment comes as AI-integrated browsers like Perplexity’s Comet try to take market share away from traditional web browsers such as Firefox.
