TCS’ annualised AI revenue at $1.5 billion: CEO

Tata Consultancy Services said on Wednesday that its artificial intelligence services has hit an annualised revenue run-rate of $1.5 billion. This is the first time the country’s top IT services company is quantifying its AI business.

TCS has executed nearly 5,500 AI engagements for clients so far, chief executive K Krithivasan said at the company’s analyst meet. AI, he said, is now growing faster than the rest of its business.
