Edtech Physicswallah acquires additional stake in Xylem Learning

Edtech firm PhysicsWallah on Thursday said it has invested an additional Rs 122.9 crore to raise its stake in subsidiary Xylem Learning to 77.27% from 64.98%.

The deal is part of a shareholder agreement of June 2023, under which the company aims to gradually acquire full ownership of Xylem Learning by FY30, it said in a filing.

Founded in 2020, Xylem Learning focusses on preparing students for entrance, government, and other competitive exams, such as JEE, NEET, and foundation courses, through both online and offline learning programmes.
