Firstcry parent to extend hygiene play with KA Enterprises acquisition

Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of omnichannel mother-and-baby care brand FirstCry, informed the exchanges on Tuesday that its subsidiary Swara Baby Products will acquire a 100% stake in hygiene products maker KA Enterprises Hygiene (KA Hygiene) in a share-swap deal valued at Rs 57.74 crore.

As per the filing, Swara Baby will issue 38.49 lakh equity shares to the existing shareholders of KA Hygiene. Following the share issuance, Brainbees’ holding in Swara Baby will come down to 75.92% from 87.29%. KA Hygiene will become a wholly owned…
