The government is throwing its weight behind the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across roles to improve governance. According to officials, AI is being deployed by an array of ministries in functions ranging from weather forecasting, disease diagnosis and translating court documents to others such as transcribing meetings and simplifying handover notes to more crucial functions like process optimisation in public sector undertakings.
