Escape Plan, India’s fastest growing travel platform, has scaled rapidly across online marketplaces, direct to consumer channels and offline retail, reaching an annualised revenue run rate of ₹300 crore. The company is now tracking towards a ₹2,000 crore annualised revenue milestone as India’s travel and mobility category continues to expand.
The platform’s growth has been driven by strong demand across e-commerce marketplaces, its own digital channels and a fast-growing physical retail presence. Escape Plan has opened 15 offline stores in the last 90 days across metros and tier two cities and plans to scale its retail footprint to 200 stores by the end of 2026. This omni channel approach has helped the company reach customers who are looking for faster access, functional products and a more immersive retail experience.
One of the key growth drivers has been Escape Plan’s quick delivery model for premium curated luggage, a first of its kind in India. The service has seen strong adoption from travellers planning spontaneous trips, replacing damaged luggage or requiring last-minute mobility solutions. The platform is also witnessing rising demand for travel accessories and products that combine durability, design and everyday usability.
Escape Plan continues to expand its product universe through design-led partnerships. Its HRX luggage collection emerged as one of the highest rated offerings in the category during Flipkart’s The Big Billion Days sale with a 4.5-star customer rating. Escape Plan has also confirmed an upcoming partnership with a leading premium Indian fashion brand to introduce a new design language in travel accessories.
Commenting on the scale-up, Abhinav Pathak, CEO and co-founder, Escape Plan, said, “India is travelling more frequently and with very different expectations today. Consumers want speed, reliability and well-designed products that solve real travel needs. Our focus has been to build a platform that brings together every aspect of travel in one place. The early traction across digital channels and physical stores shows that the category is ready for a more solution-led approach.”
Revanth Bhate,CEO, Mosaic Wellness, said “Escape Plan is proving that consumer businesses in India scale when they stay close to demand, distribution, and ground behaviour. They understand how customers are evolving and they execute with speed. This is not just luggage. It is a new retail habit forming in real time. Their clarity on product, discovery, and channel expansion gives them a real shot at building a large category outcome.”
Vijay Sharma, Senior Director, Fashion at Flipkart, said, “Flipkart is deeply committed to bringing the latest fashion and lifestyle trends to our consumers across India in a way that blends convenience, choice, and discovery. By integrating Escape Plan’s exciting lineup of mobility products into our platform, we are further expanding our wide assortment to meet the evolving needs of the modern traveler. Following the strong traction that Escape Plan observed during The Big Billion Days, it’s clear that customers value both style and substance. We look forward to supporting Escape Plan’s growth journey as they continue their expansion into new markets.”
Escape Plan’s offline stores are designed as immersive travel lounges where customers can explore products by travel type and use case. Stores in cities such as Mangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru have shown strong early performance, particularly from repeat customers and family travellers.
