Advanced Engineering Consultancy (ADVEC) has announced the signing of two major strategic agreements with Green Energy Solutions, the principal developer of the energy system within Tarboul Industrial City—one of the world’s largest industrial developments in terms of land area, investment scale, and advanced infrastructure.
The agreements mark a significant milestone in ADVEC’s efforts to deepen its role in supporting Egypt’s industrial growth and long-term sustainability goals. Together, the projects are designed to deliver high-impact energy infrastructure aligned with international standards, while accelerating Tarboul Industrial City’s vision of becoming a globally competitive, energy-efficient industrial hub.
Strengthening Egypt’s Industrial and Energy Ambitions
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment by both companies to develop integrated, future-ready energy systems that support large-scale industrialisation while prioritising efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
Through these agreements, ADVEC will provide end-to-end engineering consultancy and project supervision services across conventional and renewable energy infrastructure. The objective is to enable Tarboul Industrial City to meet rising industrial demand, reduce environmental impact, and build a resilient energy backbone capable of supporting hundreds of factories and industrial facilities.
A Core Power Hub for Tarboul Industrial City
Under the first agreement, Advanced Engineering Consultancy will serve as the engineering and supervisory consultant for the implementation of a large-scale electric substation with capacities of 500/220/66/22 kV.
This substation will act as a central power hub, directly linking Tarboul Industrial City to Egypt’s national electricity grid. It is considered a cornerstone of the city’s critical infrastructure, designed to support the growing energy requirements of industrial expansion across the development.
ADVEC’s scope of work includes preparing basic designs in line with international specifications, developing tender documents, supporting tendering and technical evaluation processes, and reviewing detailed engineering designs. The firm will also oversee the process of securing technical approvals and ensure that execution meets global safety and performance benchmarks.
In addition, ADVEC will provide full engineering and on-site supervision, manage quality assurance processes, monitor commissioning tests, and verify that the substation operates reliably and efficiently once deployed.
Integrating Renewable Energy Through a 20 MW Solar Plant
The second agreement focuses on the establishment of a 20 MW solar power plant within Tarboul Industrial City—an important step toward integrating renewable energy into the city’s overall energy mix.
As part of this project, ADVEC will deliver comprehensive engineering consultancy and supervision services, supporting Egypt’s clean energy objectives while helping reduce carbon emissions associated with large-scale industrial operations.
ADVEC’s responsibilities include preparing the solar plant’s basic designs, developing tender documentation, conducting technical evaluations of bids, and reviewing detailed designs and equipment models to ensure optimal efficiency and quality. The company will also supervise construction and installation activities through to commercial operation, closely monitoring performance and operational efficiency.
The project forms part of a broader strategy to transform Tarboul Industrial City into an integrated industrial model powered by reliable, sustainable, and diversified energy sources.
Leadership Perspectives
Commenting on the partnership, Ahmed Sallam, CEO and Founder of ADVEC, said the collaboration represents a major vote of confidence in the company’s technical capabilities.
He noted that partnering with Green Energy Solutions on projects of this scale and importance reflects trust in ADVEC’s ability to deliver integrated engineering solutions aligned with the highest global standards, while supporting Egypt’s industrial and infrastructure ambitions.
On the developer side, Ashraf Gouda, CEO and Co-Founder of Green Energy Solutions, described the agreements as a critical step in advancing energy development within Tarboul Industrial City. He highlighted ADVEC’s proven expertise in managing complex engineering works and technical supervision, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and to international benchmarks.
Gouda added that the partnership represents a practical move toward building a fully integrated energy system based on sustainable and reliable technologies, and expressed optimism about expanding collaboration in future phases of Tarboul’s development.
Building a Model for Sustainable Industrial Energy
This collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to developing modern, low-emission energy systems that improve efficiency, adopt advanced technologies, and strengthen industrial resilience.
By combining high-capacity grid infrastructure with renewable energy integration, the ADVEC–Green Energy Solutions partnership positions Tarboul Industrial City as a regional and global benchmark for smart, sustainable industrial development—supporting Egypt’s broader transition toward a more competitive and future-ready industrial economy.
