The Bengaluru bench of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) has rejected Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal‘s claim of non-resident status for assessment year 2020-21, thereby denying him the benefit of the India-Singapore Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA).

Bansal was not immediately available for a comment.
