Pinterest said on Monday, January 26, it would cut fewer than 15% of its global workforce and reduce office space as part of a board-approved restructuring in a shift toward Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The image-sharing company expects to incur total pre-tax restructuring charges of approximately $35 million to $45 million, mostly in cash, it said in a regulatory filing. These charges will be excluded from its non-GAAP financial measures, including Adjusted EBITDA.
