Qweebi Raises $500K to Bring Online STEM Learning to Schools

Share via:

Qweebi, an online K-12 STEM learning platform, has raised $500K in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with additional participation from industry leaders like Jeroen Tas and Arpit Jain. The funds will be used to accelerate product development and expand adoption across U.S. school districts.

The platform, which allows schools to run hands-on engineering and robotics projects entirely through a web browser, has already garnered impressive traction with over 5,200 schools across all 50 U.S. states using the platform. This growth has been organic, fueled by teachers spreading the word on social media.

Simplifying STEM Education

Traditionally, running hands-on engineering and robotics projects in classrooms requires a lot of preparation, sourcing of materials, and managing logistics. Teachers often spend hours gathering batteries, sensors, and motors for hundreds of students. Additionally, setup and cleanup time can eat into the limited class periods, leaving little room for actual learning.

Qweebi solves this problem by offering ready-to-run projects that can be implemented entirely online. Teachers simply select a project from a library that comes with lesson plans, teacher guides, and all the necessary virtual tools. This eliminates setup time and allows students to build virtual prototypes that function just like real-world models.

Growing Organic Demand

In just five months, Qweebi has grown 12X year-on-year and is currently serving over 100,000 students across the U.S. The company has capitalized on the growing demand for scalable digital STEM learning solutions that don’t require physical infrastructure. By focusing on hands-on learning through virtual prototypes, Qweebi is providing students with valuable, engaging STEM experiences without the logistical challenges of traditional methods.

“We are removing the barriers to hands-on learning, making it simple, accessible, and fun for students,” said Vivek Seetharaman, CEO of Qweebi. “We believe the future of learning is interactive and practical, and we are helping schools around the world move beyond books and videos to real-world projects.”

Streamlining Learning for Teachers

Qweebi’s browser-based approach offers several key advantages for teachers:

  • Ready-to-run projects: Teachers save time with pre-built projects that come with lesson plans and guides.
  • No setup time: Students can build projects instantly without needing materials, eliminating setup and cleanup time.
  • Increased engagement: Virtual prototypes allow students to test and build designs without the logistical issues of physical components.

These benefits enable teachers to focus on delivering high-quality hands-on STEM education and improve student engagement and learning outcomes.

Future Plans and Expansion

With the new funding, Qweebi plans to continue expanding its presence in U.S. school districts and further develop its platform to include more diverse STEM projects. The company aims to scale its user base, improve its curriculum offerings, and explore global expansion.

Qweebi’s approach to removing barriers for both teachers and students has the potential to redefine how STEM education is delivered at scale. By offering an interactive, affordable, and accessible platform, the company is well-positioned to disrupt the traditional educational model and empower the next generation of engineers and problem solvers.

Why Qweebi Matters for the Future of Education

Qweebi is a game-changer in the K-12 education space by making hands-on STEM education accessible to all schools, regardless of their infrastructure. The organic growth of its user base shows there’s a real demand for scalable, digital-first solutions in classrooms, and with more funding, Qweebi is set to expand its footprint, enabling more students to experience practical, engaging learning.
