Saudi’s NCA launched the ‘CyberIC’ programme for the development of the cybersecurity sector

In accordance with the country’s national cybersecurity strategy, the Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) launched the ‘CyberIC’ programme for the development of the cybersecurity sector.

The first phase of CyberIC, according to NCA, aims to increase the number of cybersecurity startups in the sector by assisting more than 60 national companies. The cybersecurity accelerator will help more than 40 startups, and the cybersecurity challenge will help more than 20 startups get started. The CyberIC programme aims to develop and strengthen national cybersecurity capabilities, localise cybersecurity technology and training content, and stimulate the larger domestic cybersecurity sector.
