Hair Originals: Hair Originals raises $5 million in Series A funding

Hair extension startup Hair Originals has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Anicut Growth Fund and 12 Flags Consumer Holdings, with participation from Lenskart cofounder Peyush Bansal.

This brings the company’s total funding to $7.2 million to date, Hair Originals said in a statement on Monday.

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its ‘try-at-home’ service, bringing on-demand hair extension services to 40 cities. It also aims to launch around 30 company-owned experience centres over the next 12 months and…
