Sonata Software profit dips 1.4% QoQ on top client ramp-down

Mid-tier IT services company Sonata Software has reported profit of Rs 105 crore for the third quarter ending December 2024 from a loss of Rs 46 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Profit was helped by robust domestic business and steady international services growth.However, sequentially, profit was lower by 1.4% from Rs 106.5 crore in the preceding quarter ending September 2024 impacted by a 3% margin erosion due to its top client’s deal ramp-down during the quarter.
