OpenAI rolls out AI agent Operator in India, but how does it work?

OpenAI on Friday said it has launched Operator, its first artificial intelligence (AI) agent, to more regions, which includes India. The ChatGPT parent said this agent can “go to the web to perform tasks for you”.

Operator has now rolled out to Pro users in Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and most places ChatGPT is available.

But what is Operator?

Users can ask Operator to carry out a range of repetitive browser tasks such as filling out forms, ordering groceries and even creating memes, OpenAI said in a blog…
