MWC 2025: HMD unveils earphones with a case you can use as a wireless charger

Human Mobile Devices (HMD), the Finnish company that owns the Nokia mobile phone brand, has unveiled a pair of very interesting Truly Wireless Stereo (TWS) stereo earbuds with a twist. Spicing things up, HMD launched the earbuds, and other devices, at the hallowed Camp Nou — FC Barcelona’s home stadium.

The earbuds, named Amped Buds, come with features we have come to expect from wireless earphones: active noice cancelling (ANC), equaliser (EQ) controls, environmental noise cancelling (ENC), and a sizeable charging case that doubles as a wireless…
