Union IT and Electronics Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday said that the Centre has published a notification to begin framing guidelines for the ₹22,919 crore Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme, following Cabinet approval in March.

The guidelines will be prepared in consultation with the industry over the next two weeks, with the scheme expected to be operational within two to three weeks.
