Synopsis

Over the long term, mechanisms that enable trust in a society are better kept in the public domain than in private hands.

As a VC for a few years now, I have had a vantage point from which to observe entrepreneurial developments in a number of sectors in the Indian economy. Curiously, they all seem to share a common thread in their mission which can be distilled down to just two words – “building trust”. In any society, transactional trust is determined by two key factors….
