Artificial intelligence may be reshaping industries, but coding isn’t going anywhere — it’s evolving. At least, that’s the message from Kevin Weil, Chief Product Officer at OpenAI, who spoke exclusively to CNBC-TV18 about how AI will affect careers, especially in technology.

Asked whether the rapid progress of AI, particularly in writing and debugging code, means coders should start worrying about their future, Weil dismissed the idea of obsolescence. Instead, he pointed to historical examples of how work adapts over time.
