Alphabet Inc is preparing to move a portion of its Google Pixel smartphone production from Vietnam to India, as it seeks to cushion potential tariff risks linked to ongoing US trade measures, the Economic Times reported. The shift, which will initially focus on devices bound for the United States, is being discussed with Indian contract manufacturers Dixon Technologies and Foxconn, according to two senior industry executives who spoke to ET.
