YouTube Music is reportedly experimenting with a new feature that lets users share lyrics from their favourite songs directly to social platforms like Instagram—bringing it one step closer to rival Spotify and Apple Music, which have offered the feature for some time.

First spotted by AssembleDebug and Android Authority in January, the feature allows users to highlight specific lines from a song’s lyrics within the app’s Now Playing screen. Once selected, users will see a Next button followed by a Share option, which opens up a menu of social…
