When faced with a question over the past decade, the instinct was to ‘Google it.’ Internet users today are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots for answers.

As per a report on web traffic trends by OneLittleWeb, AI chatbots have seen a significant surge in traffic, with an 81 percent growth between April 2024 and March 2025, equalling nearly 55.2 billion visits, up from 30.5 billion in the preceding year.
