Pet care startup Petjio World in talks to raise $1.5 million seed funding

Pet care startup Petjio World is in the process of its first institutional round of funding, to raise $1.5 million, and has initiated talks with VC firms such as Capria Ventures, as well as family offices across India, the UAE, and the US, company executives said.Founder Pratik Sen said the digital-first pet care platform is “a curated marketplace that combines services providers across boarding, grooming, training, vet consultations and adoption”.

The start-up is targeting tier-2 markets, where he said demand is growing but supply is broken….
