The features are intended to help buyers identify genuine and trustworthy buyers and sellers and avoid scams.
The features, when combined with the government’s consumer protection laws, will also help genuine sellers. Verified accounts will also receive priority support for platform issues. To apply for verification, a seller must upload the required documents, a profile picture, and a 5-second selfie video, which is then verified by the Dubizzle team. Buyers will be more trusting of reviews and ratings from verified accounts.
