Bahrain’s BRAVE CF signs three-time world champion Ramazan Gitinov

Share via:

Ramazan Gitinov, the undisputed greatest amateur mixed martial artist of all time, has signed a multi-fight contract with the Bahrain-based global mixed martial arts marketing company BRAVE Combat Federation (CF).

This is expected to be the beginning of Gitinov’s transition from amateur to professional dominance in the game. During his 33-fight amateur career, the 26-year-old star has won nearly every award available. He is one of only three athletes to have won three amateur world championships, as well as four gold medals on the IMMAF circuit. Gitinov earned his third gold medal at this year’s World Championships after dominating the Welterweight division at the BRAVE Serbia International Combat Week in Belgrade, Serbia, in February.

Ramazan left the amateur scene as the number one pound-for-pound male fighter, and his performances also helped his national team achieve the number-one spot on the IMMAF senior national team rankings list.
