Tinder has rolled out a new feature called ‘Double Date,’ allowing users to team up with a friend and match with other pairs. The new group-style format is aimed at making dating more social, especially for GenZ, which makes up over half the app’s global user base.

The idea is simple: Pick a friend, link your profiles, and swipe on other duos. If either friend likes a pair and there’s mutual interest, a four-person group chat opens up, making it easier to skip the awkward one-on-one icebreakers.
