Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has said his love for numbers helped in his bonding with his father-in-law, Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy.

“He (Murthy) lives by the saying ‘in God we trust; everyone else must bring data to the table,’ and I couldn’t agree more. That deep respect for data has given me the edge in every role I have had since leaving here (Stanford GSB),” he said, giving a joint commencement address with wife Akshata Murthy on Data, Dreams, and Dharma at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) on June 14.
