Maxvolt Energy, a leading name in battery technology and green energy solutions, has achieved a major milestone towards building a sustainable and self-reliant energy future. The company officially received its land acquisition letter from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath ji during the “Uttar Pradesh – Udhyam Pradesh” event held on International MSME Day at Lok Bhawan Sabha Sagar, Lucknow. The announcement underscores the UP Government’s commitment to fostering innovation, industrial growth, and sustainable entrepreneurship across the state.

Maxvolt Energy has secured 23,524 square meters of industrial land in Aligarh to set up a world-class lithium battery recycling and repurposing facility. This new facility will be strategically located near Maxvolt’s existing battery manufacturing plant in Ghaziabad, ensuring an efficient supply chain and operational synergy between both sites.

This move aligns with Maxvolt Energy’s vision to reduce India’s dependency on imported lithium raw materials, advance closed-loop battery lifecycle management, and contribute significantly to India’s clean energy transition. The project will also address key battery waste management challenges and promote environmental sustainability.

Mr. Satendra Shukla, CEO of Maxvolt Energy, shared his thoughts on this milestone: “We are deeply honoured to receive this land acquisition letter from Hon’ble CM Yogi ji. The unwavering support from the Uttar Pradesh Government strengthens our mission to build a circular battery economy and contribute to India’s green energy revolution. This facility will not only tackle critical environmental challenges but also generate local employment and drive innovation within the state.”

Adding to the vision, Mr. Vishal Gupta, Co-Founder & CTO of Maxvolt Energy, said, “This project is a major step for Maxvolt and India’s clean technology ambitions. With the encouragement and proactive policies of the Uttar Pradesh Government, we are developing sustainable lithium battery solutions that are made, maintained, and renewed within India. Our goal is to create an ecosystem that supports both the environment and the economy.”

The new lithium battery recycling plant in Aligarh is expected to play a crucial role in supporting India’s rapidly growing EV and energy storage market, promoting a circular economy, and positioning Uttar Pradesh as a hub for clean technology and sustainable industrial development.

This landmark collaboration marks a new chapter in Maxvolt Energy’s journey to build India’s largest sustainable battery recycling network and advance the nation’s net-zero emissions goals.
