India’s data centre industry is on the cusp of explosive growth, powered by rapid digitalisation, surging cloud adoption, rollout of 5G networks, and the rise of AI-led workloads.

According to Savills India, the country’s total data centre capacity is projected to grow fourfold and hit 4 gigawatts (GW) IT by 2030, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23%.
