India Charts a Bold AI Future at ‘Architects of AI’ Closed-Door Dialogue

In a landmark initiative to shape India’s AI landscape,leading voices from technology, policy, and enterprise gathered at ‘Architects of AI’, a closed-door, invite-only event hosted on Saturday at IIT Delhi. The event was co-organized by AppSquadz, Vensysco Technologies Limited, SwiftSeed Ventures and Amazon Web Services (AWS), in collaboration with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi.

Designed to go beyond conventional tech discourse, Architects of AI convened stakeholders across domains to address the critical need for scalable AI infrastructure, inclusive design, and India-centric innovation.

The day commenced with a keynote by Sachin Punyani, Head of Deep Tech Services, AWS, who showcased how AWS is actively enabling the development of India’s Large

Language Models (LLMs) by providing scalable infrastructure, advanced tooling, and robust ecosystem support for innovators.

Panel 1: Building Public Infrastructure for Tomorrow

Architects of AI was conceptualised as a platform to encourage strategic dialogue and foster collaboration across the AI value chain, from compute infrastructure and foundational models to ethical deployment and commercialisation. By bringing together visionaries from both the public and private sectors, the event laid the groundwork for ongoing cooperation aimed at making AI infrastructure inclusive, resilient, and globally competitive.

The agenda was clear: move beyond buzzwords and toward action. The day featured deep- dive discussions around India’s capability to build inclusive, open, and scalable AI systems, both for domestic use and global leadership.

Key Highlights:
● Sachin Punyani (AWS) shared how AWS is enabling scalable infrastructure to support India’s LLM development efforts.
● Panel 1 brought together ONDC, OpenAI, and IBM leaders to explore how India can build public AI infrastructure accessible to every citizen, from metro cities to remote
