Bengaluru Police have arrested a CoinDCX employee, Rahul Agarwal, in connection with the recent theft of nearly $44 million (approx. ₹384 crore) in digital assets from the Indian crypto exchange. The breach, which occurred earlier this month, is being investigated as a potential insider-led cybercrime.

According to reports, the hack was traced to Agarwal’s official work laptop. Forensic analysis and cybercrime units are currently working to trace the stolen assets, which were routed through multiple wallets to mask their trail.
