The arrest occurred following searches at three locations, leading to the seizure of cryptocurrencies valued at Rs. 2.8 crore and Rs. 22 lakh in unaccounted cash from Arora’s possession. This operation is part of a larger CBI crackdown on cybercrime networks targeting international victims. Further investigation is underway to uncover the full extent of the racket and identify other involved parties.
